How to Open a Website with ProxyBrowser

Start with a public page whose address you know. Copy the full URL, return to ProxyBrowser, and paste it into the entry field. You can begin from the website without installing an application or creating a ProxyBrowser account.

Step 1: Copy the full address

Open the original link or copy its address from the page where you found it. Keep the complete URL, including the path after the domain. For example, https://example.com/article points to a specific page, while https://example.com points to the homepage.

Check that the copied text does not include a message, extra spaces, or punctuation from a chat. On a phone, use the option to copy the link address; copying the text of a shared message may include more than the URL.

Go to the ProxyBrowser homepage and paste the address into the field labeled Enter a website address. The same form is available on desktop and mobile. You do not need to enter a server hostname or port, install an extension, or change your device's network configuration.

If you arrived through a link with an address already filled in, check the destination before continuing. You can replace the text with a different URL.

Step 3: Follow the connection prompt

Select Open website. If the sharing prompt appears, you can share the service or select Continue after a short wait. Sharing is optional. The countdown completes before the proxy connection starts.

You can close the prompt to return to the form. When you continue, allow the connection process to finish before submitting the same address again. The destination page replaces the current view when the connection is ready.

Step 4: Browse or try another destination

Check that the returned page is the one you intended to open. Follow its links to continue. To begin with another website, return to proxybrowser.org and enter a new address.

The proxy browser handles supported requests opened through the service. It does not automatically route other tabs or applications on your device. A destination may still use its own cookies and account system.

If the session does not start

Check that your browser has JavaScript and Service Worker support. An outdated browser or a restricted browsing environment can prevent the session from starting. The browser requirements page provides a starting point for checking your browser.

If the form reports a request failure, reload the homepage and try the original address again. If the same problem continues, compare with a simple public page. That comparison helps establish whether one destination is affected or the connection cannot start at all.

If a page loads only partly

Text, images, sign-in screens, and media players can use different parts of a website. One part may work while another fails. Note what is missing and whether the same page works directly, then read the website loading answers.

If you contact us through the About page, include your browser version, the public page address, and the error you see. Those details help reproduce the problem. A successful result on one page does not guarantee that every feature of the destination is supported.
