What does a proxy browser do?

It provides a web interface for requesting pages through an intermediary. Your browser submits the destination, the service requests the page, and the returned content opens in your browser. This changes the route used for supported requests; it does not remove every way a website can recognize a visitor.

Is ProxyBrowser free to use?

Yes. You can enter a website address and start from the form without buying a subscription. The service may display advertisements. If a sharing prompt appears, sharing is optional: you can continue after the short wait shown on screen.

No ProxyBrowser account is required to start with the website form. A destination website may have separate account requirements. Starting a connection here does not create an account on that destination or transfer an existing login between devices.

Do I need a PC download, APK, or extension?

No. This service starts from proxybrowser.org. You do not need a Windows installer, an Android APK, or a browser extension to use the form. The Open website button starts a connection; it does not download an application.

Is this a VPN for my device?

No. A web proxy handles supported website requests made through its interface. A VPN can route traffic from other applications, depending on its configuration. Opening a page here does not automatically change the connection used by another tab, a game, or a messaging app.

Can I use a phone, tablet, or Mac?

The website provides the same address entry flow on desktop and smaller screens. Your browser still needs the features required to start the session. Check the browser requirements if it cannot begin; device names alone do not guarantee compatibility with every destination.

Why does a page fail to open?

Start by checking the full URL. A broken link, an offline destination, a network restriction, or an incompatible page can produce similar symptoms. Try an unrelated public page and compare whether the original destination opens directly.

Neither page opens through the service: check browser requirements and whether the connection can start.
One page works and another fails: check the failing address and whether that destination rejects proxy connections.
The homepage opens but a deeper link fails: confirm that the original page still exists and that you copied the full path.
A sign-in screen keeps reappearing: the destination's cookies or login flow may not work through the service.

A different route may help with some access restrictions, but it cannot restore an offline website or guarantee that every restriction can be bypassed.

Why does text load but a video or image does not?

Media can come from separate domains or depend on streaming protocols and access checks. The page may load even when its player cannot. Check the same content directly where available, and note which part fails. Repeatedly refreshing the same page may not resolve a compatibility problem.

Does using a proxy make me anonymous?

No complete anonymity is promised. Accounts, cookies, browser characteristics, and service logs can still relate activity to a visitor. Review the Privacy Policy for data handling information before deciding what to submit through the service.

How can I report a problem?

Use the contact option on the About page. Include the public page address, your browser version, what you expected to happen, and the visible error or missing content. Mention whether the page opens directly and whether another public page works through the service.
